Rocket Day
Days of building and painting for Sam's first Scouting event. Dad and Sam headed off to Rocket Day at the park on a beautiful Fall morning. Sam was a little unsure of the rockets when they first started to blast off but by the end of the event he was having a blast. Sam's rocket was the star of the show. His rocket didn't have a large enough engine bay so his rocket did loops and crashed instead of blasting off. The kids loved it!

First day of Tiger Scouts
Sam was so very excited to get his Scout uniform and practiced the Scout motto, Scout sign, and Scout salute all day to prepare.
Scouts got off to a rocky start this year due to Hurricane Ike hitting the day we were originally planning to join.
